Karem Shrine, where tradition meets tomorrow.
_edited.jpg)
Our core values have remained constant since Karem received its charter in 1919. Karem Shriners are committed to family, fellowship and making the world a better place. As Shriners, we affirm religious tolerance, acceptance, patriotism, freedom, charity and intergrity. We will continue to embrace these values and practice Shrine traditions.
Having traditions doesn't make us stuck in the past. Karem Shriners are reinventing themselves. We recently added a new unit and we're hoping to add more. We're also in the process of updgrading the Shrine itself.
Visit Karem and let us show you how we honor the past, while looking towards the future.

DIRECTORS STAFF
Greetings Nobles. It has already proven to be a very busy and productive year for the Directors Staff. On February 10th we hosted our 6th annual Love To The Rescue event benefitting Shriners Hospitals for Children with a sold out crowd at the Karem Ballroom. Our guests enjoyed a wonderful night of elegant dining, exciting auction items and world class entertainment from former ACM Vocal Group of the Year RESTLESS HEART! This event continues to grow each year and with it the opportunity to spread the message of the incredible work that all of us as Karem Shriners do for our hospitals. Through our corporate table sales and sponsorships, live and silent auctions, and our Fund the Mission campaign, we were able to raise $38,000 for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Thank you to all our Directors Staff members and ladies for your tireless work and dedication throughout the entire year.
Just a few weeks after LTR, we had several Staff members attend TSDA in Corpus Christi hosted by our brethren of Al Amin. Director Yancy Marteney, TSDA Vice-President Ricky Hamblin, Jason Spivey and Ralph Reynolds Jr enjoyed a great time of fun and fellowship with our fellow Directors Staff members from across the state. Our own Ricky Hamblin will serve as TSDA President for 2019.
As March rolled around, we loaded up and attended the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic in Houston where we were honored to make our check presentation on the field of Minute Maid Park with Imperial Sir Kenny Craven and our Illustrious Potentate Larry Johnson. We all had a great time and can’t wait to go back next year. If you have never attended the College Classic then you are missing out on an incredible experience.
On March 31st the Directors Staff will conduct our yearly Red Fez fund raising campaign at American Bank in Bellmead and then later that day host the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Karem Kamp.
